This case study demonstrates how tree-level monitoring powered by the aerialFARMS platform in partnership with AGceleration and Agri-Zon, enabled a commercial pistachio grower to identify an irrigation deficit, test a solution, and confidently scale the intervention across the entire orchard. Consistent aerial monitoring from 2023-2025 showed measurable results at every stage:

• 2023: Aerial imagery analyses identified underperforming tree rows, indicating irrigation limitations in the existing single-line drip system.

• 2024: A double-line drip irrigation pilot study identified a previously unknown irrigation spatial gradient. Overall, increased irrigation resulted in increased tree vegetation and health above neighboring unaltered rows.

• 2025: Full orchard conversion to double-line drip irrigation delivered an 11.6% year-over-year vegetative gain. The most notable vegetation gains were seen in areas with historically weaker trees, narrowing the gap between strong and weak orchard regions by 32% and increasing overall orchard uniformity.
